Hi! My name is Paradise! I exist as a licensed therapist, fantasy author, and touring musician. I began my counseling journey with the sole intension of using the knowledge in animation/writing. I hold certifications in Narrative Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention (aka Exposure Therapy), as well as extensive background in creative interventions like songwriting, story writing, art and gaming groups. I am a firm believer in blending structure and creativity. Expect homework as real change happens out in the wild of life– not just in session! ^~^

GOT A QUESTION

Frequently
Asked Questions

Paradise-77
01. What is general therapy and how can it help me?
General therapy provides a safe space to talk about your thoughts, feelings, and challenges with a trained therapist. It helps you manage stress, improve relationships, and find healthier ways to cope with life’s difficulties.
02. What is therapeutic songwriting?
Therapeutic songwriting uses music and lyrics as a tool for self-expression and healing. You don’t need to be a musician—together we create songs that reflect your story, emotions, and goals, helping you process experiences in a creative way.
03. How does narrative therapy work?
Narrative therapy focuses on the stories we tell ourselves about our lives. By exploring and reshaping those stories, you can discover new perspectives, reduce self-criticism, and strengthen your sense of identity and resilience.
04. What is exposure therapy used for?
Exposure therapy is designed to help people gradually face and reduce fears, phobias, or anxiety triggers in a safe and guided manner. Over time, this builds confidence and decreases the power those fears hold over daily life.
05. What types of therapy services do you offer?
We offer a range of personalized therapies—including general talk therapy, narrative therapy, exposure therapy, and therapeutic songwriting. Each approach is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring you receive support that fits your journey of healing and growth.
